I’ve always been drawn to both discovery and creativity, which is why I’ve spent the past 18 years as a full-time middle school science teacher. In the classroom, I encourage curiosity and observation—skills that naturally carry over into my work behind the camera. Photography has become my creative outlet, a way to slow down and truly see the world, capturing moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
My approach
My journey with photo editing began back in 2002, and in 2017 I took the leap into professional photography part-time. I’m especially passionate about working in natural settings, using natural light to create images that feel genuine and timeless—but I also love stepping into the imaginative side of photography through fantasy work. Blending creativity with technical skill, I create images that range from beautifully real to whimsically surreal, always aiming to tell a story that feels both authentic and a little bit magical.
